Roseville Weekend Fair weekend is the main eventFriday, June 26, 2026 |
Hi neighbors, This weekend is wonderfully lopsided: the Placer County Fair is doing most of the heavy lifting in Roseville, and the rest of the list is a clean mix of downtown music plus a couple of nearby options if you want something lower-key. Here is what looks worth your time. |

This Weekend |
Placer County FairFriday–Sunday, June 26–28 · @the Grounds, Roseville This is the hometown anchor. The fair runs Friday 5:00–11:00 PM and Saturday–Sunday noon–11:00 PM, with rides, livestock, contests, family shows, the AgTech Expo, and free concerts included with admission. |
Strata at Goldfield RosevilleFriday, June 26, 6:00 PM · Goldfield Trading Post, Downtown Roseville If your Friday plan is more downtown show than fairgrounds, this is the Roseville pick. Downtown Roseville lists Strata with SorryX and Solely Veil, with tickets shown at $20. |
Auburn Music on the SquareFriday, June 26, 6:00–8:00 PM · Downtown Auburn Central Square This is the easy nearby alternative: free music, a square you can wander, and enough food and dessert options nearby to make it feel like a plan without overbuilding the night. |
BulletBoys at Goldfield RosevilleSaturday, June 27, 7:00 PM · Goldfield Trading Post, Downtown Roseville Saturday has a second straightforward downtown option if you want the fair by day and a show by night. Downtown Roseville lists BulletBoys live inside Goldfield, with tickets shown at $25. |
The Colfax BazaarSaturday, June 27, 8:00 AM–3:00 PM · Fruit Exchange Building, Colfax This is the short-road-trip pick. Visit Placer lists vintage furniture, clothing, decor, handcrafted goods, food trucks, live music, and Main Street antique shops around the historic Fruit Exchange Building. |

Local NotesFair traffic is the practical weekend note. The fair is active through Sunday at @the Grounds, so build in a little extra patience around Event Center Drive, especially if your plan includes Saturday afternoon or evening. Roseville's city event page is already nudging July planning. The city is pointing residents toward 4th of July, Concerts on the Square, Sensory Family Fun, and Trail-A-Bration, which makes this a good week to pencil in next weekend before it sneaks up. Placer County's General Plan update is worth a skim. The county says the plan will guide land use, housing, transportation, jobs, services, parks, and wildfire planning for the next 20 to 25 years. That is dry, yes, but it is also where future daily-life decisions start to take shape. County news is busy this month. Recent Placer County updates include the fair, a General Plan phase, a burn ban, a Hidden Falls trail grant, the draft budget, and the end of a regional measles outbreak. |

Neighbor TipFor the fair, pick your anchor before you go. If you are mostly there for rides, avoid drifting into the schedule rabbit hole. If you are there for music or contests, check the daily schedule first and let the rest of the fair happen around that one must-see thing. |
