Roseville Weekend
The better Memorial Day weekend list
Friday, May 22, 2026

Good morning, Roseville.
This weekend's calendar is not packed with huge headline events, so I am keeping the list tighter. No filler, no random store promos, and no youth tournament listings that only matter if your kid is playing. These are the picks I would actually consider sending to a neighbor.

This Weekend
Friday
Fountains Sunset Karaoke
Friday, May 22, 7:00-9:00 p.m. at The Fountains at Roseville Main Stage. This is the easiest pick of the weekend: free, outside, specific, and low-commitment. Bring a chair or blanket, get there before the 7 p.m. start, and make dinner part of the plan.

Friday
If Not For Me / Colorblind / Windwaker at Goldfield
Friday, May 22, 6:00 p.m. at Goldfield Trading Post, 238 Vernon Street. This one is not for everyone, but it is a real downtown show with a clear start time and ticket price. Worth knowing if you want a louder Vernon Street night.

Saturday
Free Garage Sale Day at Denio's
Saturday, May 23, 7:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m. at Denio's Market, 1551 Vineyard Road. This is the Roseville pick with the most local flavor: new garage sale vendors get a free selling space, which usually means more odd finds than a normal market day.

Saturday
Car Show & Pancake Breakfast in Lincoln
Saturday, May 23, 8:00 a.m.-noon at Grace Life Church, 701 East Avenue in Lincoln. Classic cars, pancakes, and a bounce house make this a better family morning than another indoor errand loop.

Saturday
Heritage Trail at DeWitt History Museum
Saturday, May 23, 9:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. at DeWitt History Museum in Auburn. Free, local history, and more interesting than the name makes it sound: the site was a World War II Army hospital before becoming part of the county campus.

Sunday
American Crown Circus in Rocklin
Sunday, May 24, 5:30 p.m. at Twin Oaks Park in Rocklin. This is outside Roseville, but it is close, family-friendly, and specific enough to beat the weaker Sunday filler. Tickets are listed from free child options up to family packs.

Monday Heads-Up
Memorial Day Ceremony at Roseville Cemetery
Monday, May 25, 10:30 a.m. at Roseville Cemetery. Not technically the weekend list, but it belongs here because it is the actual Memorial Day local moment.

Local Notes
- Roseville's manufacturing base is bigger than most people realize. The city says more than 220 manufacturers operate here and support more than 3,000 local jobs. The part to watch is Bosch: its Roseville semiconductor investment is tied to electric vehicles, energy systems, and a larger regional chip-manufacturing push. Read more
- Roseville Parkway construction is the traffic note to remember. Phase 1 is expected to begin this summer between Pleasant Grove Boulevard and Creekside Ridge. Translation: the Galleria side of town should move better long term, but expect construction friction first. Read more
- Roseville Square is a useful signal for older shopping centers. The city is pointing to facade work, new buildings, and tenants like the planned 85C Bakery Cafe as proof that commercial corridor reinvestment is moving from plan to visible change. Read more
- Roseville Transit changes Monday. The city lists no Local or ADA Paratransit service and no Commuter service on Memorial Day, while Arrow has limited 8 a.m.-5 p.m. hours. If you rely on transit, check before you plan around Monday. Read more

Small Business Spotlight
Pacific Street Cafe
Pacific Street Cafe is the kind of downtown Roseville breakfast place that does not need to pretend to be trendy. It sits at 301 Lincoln Street, and the cafe describes itself as a small family-owned business that has served generations of families for 22 years.
The local detail that makes it worth spotlighting: they built the place with kids in mind, including a train that goes around the cafe and a train table play area. That is not a gimmick if you are trying to get through breakfast with little kids. That is infrastructure.

Neighbor Tip
If you are doing The Fountains on Friday night, do not show up at 6:55 expecting the best seating. Bring a low chair or blanket, get food before karaoke starts, and remember the rule they list for events: alcoholic drinks stay on restaurant patios, not out in the main seating area.

Founding Sponsor Slot
Roseville Weekend has a founding sponsor package for local businesses: $150/month for a clearly labeled sponsor mention in each Friday issue during the month.
