Roseville Weekend - May 29, 2026
A tighter Roseville weekend list: Vernon Street music, Lincoln clay art, pool safety, speedway noise, and a new West Roseville donut stop.
Roseville Weekend

A useful weekend, not a stuffed one

Friday, May 29, 2026

Good morning, Roseville.

This is one of those weekends where the best list is not the longest list. I kept the weaker filler out and leaned into the things with a real reason to leave the house: downtown music, a last-chance Lincoln art stop, pool safety before summer really hits, and a loud Saturday night at the speedway.

This Weekend

Friday

Missing Persons at Goldfield Roseville

Friday, May 29, 7:00 p.m. at Goldfield Trading Post, 238 Vernon Street. A real downtown headliner, not just background music. Tickets are listed at $20, and this is the pick if you want Vernon Street to feel like a night out.

Friday

Auburn Music on the Square

Friday, May 29, 6:00-8:00 p.m. in Downtown Auburn. This is outside Roseville, but it earns the drive because it is free, easy, and built around dinner, dessert, shopping, and live music in the square. This week's artist is Spiral Sunset.

Saturday

Water Safety POOLooza

Saturday, May 30, 3:00-7:00 p.m. at the Roseville Aquatics Complex. Useful and timely: Roseville Fire is part of the city's water safety push, and this event pairs the lesson with discounted recreational swim admission.

Saturday

NASCAR Spring Smash at All American Speedway

Saturday, May 30 at All American Speedway, 800 Event Center Drive. The schedule lists late models, modifieds, street stocks, mini stocks, legends, and a demolition derby. This is the loud local pick of the weekend.

Schedule
Saturday

Jessica Baio at Goldfield Roseville

Saturday, May 30, 7:00 p.m. at Goldfield Trading Post, 238 Vernon Street. A pop show with a clear time and venue, and a good reminder that downtown has more going on than dinner and drinks.

Sunday

Last Chance: Feats of Clay in Lincoln

Sunday, May 31, 11:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. at the Art League of Lincoln, 580 Sixth Street. The national ceramic competition closes Sunday, so this is the quiet, low-cost culture pick before it disappears.

Small Business Spotlight

Donuts & Coffey

West Roseville has a donut-and-coffee stop worth putting on your radar. Donuts & Coffey lists its Roseville shop at 1780 Pleasant Grove Boulevard in West Roseville Marketplace, joining its Sacramento-area locations.

The useful local angle: the menu goes beyond the standard dozen. They serve traditional cake and raised donuts, mochi donuts, kronuts, coffee, smoothies, fruit teas, and bubble teas, which makes it an easy stop when one person wants coffee and another wants something cold.

Neighbor Tip

If you are using Miner's Ravine for the Trail-A-Bration challenge, go early and pick a defined out-and-back instead of wandering until everyone is tired. The trail is great, but the best family version is a short route, water bottles, and a planned snack stop after.
